Néry DayI wonder how many can remember the Néry Day activities of the early sixties. Always a big date in the forecast of events for Néry battery. In particular when equipped with the 105mm Pack Howitzer. The gun could be stripped down and re-assembled after an obstacle course, then fire a blank to ensure it was put together correctly. Great competitive spirit between the No1's and detachments. Any comments????
With the committments of the battery today I'm not sure how far they go to celebrate the tittle, although I know they visited the village of Néry in December 2006.

Yes Taff, I can remember going to Néry, I think it was 1976, as well and popping over to Paris and I watched The Exorcist with Paul Evens (the taff one) and a few others and you I think, anyway we all had a good time.
